Hi I'm Marley McClain, I am a freelance photographer who was raised in San Francisco. growing up I have always had a love for music and how it can transport a person into an entirely new realm in a sense. When I was 10 I found my parents' Nikon D90 and instantly fell in love with taking pictures of anything that captured my eye. Later on I found a way to mix the two things I love through music / concert photography . I remember growing up and looking at  pictures of musicians like David Bowie and Nirvana and the way the photographers so beautifully captured the artists. I think the artist and moment that truly set in the passion was at one point when I was looking through a collection of photos that Mick Rock took of David Bowie and how beautiful the images were and how they told a story. I hope that my pictures can help transcend others into a moment that is captured within an image.
